Memories
Bonny Selby

Always in our hearts

David Leslie Selby, There is much that I can say.

You went to be with the Lord, one year ago today.
Those of us who loved you will cherish your memory.
Hold you in our hearts, until we reunite in eternity.
You have made an impact, on so many lives.
I am forever grateful, that you were a part of mine.
Although you worked hard, you were never too tired to play.
I remember after some dinners, we would dance the night away.
We would go on long walks with the dogs, then a swim in our pool,
The hot tub and massages, yes, you would drool!
Together we enjoyed, shooting pool with some friends.
Watching movies, going skydiving, and pushing limits to the end.
Our blessing Emma Jane, knows that you loved her so.
We will always keep you in our hearts and never let you go.
Bonny Selby

I thank God so much for bringing us together. We created one amazing girl. Today was Emma's third Birthday and she is truly one of our heavenly father's blessings. As I reflect back, I'm so glad you were there at the hospital and I appriciated all your help. It was a very painful recovery and you took very good care of me.

Letters

I found some letters that you wrote to me throughout my pregnancy and your words affirmed that you knew the tough choices I had to make were out of love for both you and our daughter. I really needed to read that again and again. “I really do want help, and you got the ball rolling. Thank you…You really are helping me out though. You did the right thing. Tough love!”

I guarantee I have more memories than this website could hold.  Memories I've held onto dearly for over a decade; memories I will hold onto dearly for a lifetime.

But I can't bring myself to type them out.  True to my style, all I can think of is a verse to a song.  So that'll just have to do.

I never wanted
To write these words down for you
With the pages of phrases
Of all the things we'll never do
So I blow out the candle and
I put you to bed
Since you can't say to me now
How the dog broke your bone
There's just one thing left to be said
Say hello to heaven

Your brother,
Bobbie Randall

I remember running into you after not seeing you for a few years. I was so excited to see you again! You and Bonny went to Fitz with Matt and I. We had so much fun that night! You were always someone special. You stood out from the crowd. You are missed David. May you forever have peace. Love, Bobbie
